What a live class actually looks like
Studying from home does not mean watching videos alone. Here is how our classes are structured, and what is expected of a student.
Every class at the academy is live. A qualified teacher is present, you can ask questions, and your recitation and written work are corrected as you go. This is the main difference between studying with us and working through recorded material on your own.
Classes run in batches. Depending on the course, batches are held in the morning, evening or at night, so students in different time zones and with different household routines can attend. Several courses offer both group classes and one-to-one classes.
For recitation subjects such as Tajweed, one-to-one time matters, because Makharij and pronunciation cannot be corrected without the teacher hearing you individually. For subjects like Deeniyat and Aqeedah, group classes work well and students benefit from each other's questions.
What is expected of you is regular attendance and the practice set between classes. The courses are structured, not casual, and the certificate courses require completing the full programme.
